I have recently opened an online shop over on my other blog At Home A Lot. I am currently stocking Mind Cards and Journals and a couple of crystal items. But I will be adding more items soon. I just wanted to let you know what’s on offer.
What are Mindfulness Journals?
It’s common knowledge that keeping a journal is a good way of finding a little time for yourself and thinking about your life and what you want. Some kind of therapies, in particular, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), encourage you to write down your feelings regularly. Their are many reasons for this, but the main one is so that you can find a way of expressing your feelings. By keeping a journal over time you can look back and see your progress, in both life goals and mental health.
Mindfulness is generally considered to be clearing your mind of all things and focusing on the now. You may think that writing down your feelings is counter-productive because you are not clearing your mind. But, there is no better way of cleaning out all the debris that goes around in your head by focusing on some simple questions and writing down your answers.
In my shop I currently offer two types of journals. One is the Hardback Mind Notes Book which is a detailed journal with daily pages that pinpoint behaviour patterns and encourage you to focus on gratitude. There are also weekly exercises which help with your mindfulness techniques. The journal is great for your mental wellbeing.
My shop is fairly new, so if you find something out of stock, please be re-assured that I will be stocking up again soon.
Blank Journals
I also stock lined and bullet journals. The lined journals have lined pages for plenty of writing and are good to use alongside Mind Cards Journal Edition, or just Mind Cards. I’ll talk more about them later. You can also use them for filling in your daily thoughts. The bullet journals have tiny faded dots or bullet points which help you organise your journal and to let your imagination run wild. My daughter Boo has a bullet journal for her daily drawings.
Mind Cards and Mind Cards Journal Edition
I’ve had a pack of mind card for many years and use them regularly. You get a box of 45 cards which are split into categories;
- kindness
- ritual
- gratitude
- journal
- reflection
Each day you select a card at random and take the action written on it. They are designed to introduce positive habits into your daily routine.
Mind Cards Journal Edition:
A set of 45 journal prompts to guide your journaling and focus your writing in the most positive, absorbing and beneficial way.
Self-development is about taking the time to pause and reflect on our behaviours, successes and failures and to consider how we can use these learnings moving forward. One of the best ways to do this is to start a journal.
This set of cards will help you to be more creative in your journaling and will guide you each day to ensure you are answering the questions that will lead you on a path of self-discovery.
I don’t currently have any Mind Cards Journal Edition in stock but you can buy them direct from LSW London. I will be stocking some soon.
Aw, i hope you have a lot of success with your online shop. #MMBC
Wishing you the best of luck with your shop. When my youngest was having some mental health issues it was suggested to her to keep a journal and she has carried it on and she loves being able to write down about how she feels. x
You have a nice assortment of journals. Good luck! #MMBC
It is great to have your own shop. I hope you will have more success with your business activities.
I also like this idea of journalling and mind cards. It is a great way to relieve daily stress. Mind cards are great for continuous well-being.
