Next Mummy Bloggers Event

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Next Mummy Bloggers Event at Crockwell Farm in Northampton.
We had a glorious sunny day and the setting was just charming.

Crockwell Farm

The day was full of fun and relaxation. There were kid’s entertainers on hand to keep the little ones happy while the mum’s took park in some well deserved pampering sessions. Well, I know mine were well deserved 🙂

On display were a lovely selection from the Next Children’s Autumn/Winter Collection which was very exciting.
I loved this outfit, it would definitely suit my little man.
For my youngest girl I would choose this lovely set;
I love the idea of layering, especially as the weather gets colder. Waistcoats are a trendy touch and I love the matching accessories, the glittery bag and leopard print hat.
For my older girls I would choose this outfit;
Again, layering is the key. I’m particularly found of checks though and loved this shirt. I loved the boots too, will have to check if they do something similar in adult size 😉
I also spotted some gorgeous tu tu skirts which will be lovely for the girl’s Christmas parties, along with some gorgeous sparkly tops. I will blog about them later.
For a more personal view of our day out please see my other blog Baby Number Five
Finally, here is a video of the days events.

Autumn for the Little Man

Autumn has arrived at Next! I’ve had a browse and picked out my choice of outfits for my little man. The first thing I went for was these adorable dungarees which team well with the lovely striped hoodies. A great autumn look for any boy.

As the weather gets better (haha, like it could after this washout of a summer) then you’ll have to reach for these gorgeous colourful wellies for splashing in the puddles.

Finally, I’ve put together an outfit that I am itching to see my little man in. I love these jeans with braces and they would look great coupled with a shirt, then to complete the look I’ve added an adorable waistcoat, a pair of boots all topped off with a cap.

Win a bottle of Avon Perceive Perfume

This competition is now over, congratulations to the winner, Julie Heathcote

Avon scents are well loved today, from the oldies such as Treselle to the ones inspired by famous women like Fergie’s Outspoken. Soon Milla Jovovich will be introducing the new scents City Rush for Her and Him.
My favourites are Eternal magic and Infinite Moments, but I am also a fan of Perceive and this is what is up for grabs in this fabulous give away.
Perceive Eau de Parfum Spray (50ml) has uplifting essences of gardenia, plum, vanilla, orchid and sandalwood. The bottle is a really pretty geometric shape and you can buy it from Avon for around £11.

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this lovely bottle of perfume is comment on this blog and follow it by e-mail or Google Friends Connect. Really Easy! One winner will drawn on 22nd July. Good Luck to everyone.

Edit: I’ve taken away the widget as it didn’t seem to be working. Please just follow and or comment for your chance to win.

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

A little Note About Positive Reviews on Raisie Bay

Some people only write reviews when things go wrong with products, which is good because it lets people know that there could be potential problems. I’ve also seen negative feedback with say things like, I had to return this item because the colour did not suit me…is this useful?

I write reviews on most items I buy because I like to give genuine feedback. If I have a genuine problem with a product I will write my review in the appropriate place.

I write reviews on my blog too, but they are mostly positive. Why? Because I only write reviews for the things I’ve loved. If I don’t love them I let the person who sent me them know with details why and then let them decided if they would rather me write a negative review or not write one at all. It’s always the latter.

This is my blog, my place and I’ll let you know about the things I love. If you want to find out what other people have hated about the product then you will need to look elsewhere.

My reviews may all be positive, but they are still genuine.
