Hello and welcome to the home of Word of the Week. A nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. The idea of the linky is to reflect back on your past week and share it with us. It’s great if you can sum it up in a word or phrase, hence giving us your Word of the Week. My word this week is ‘sick’ and you can read more about that below.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU WISH TO LINK UP! FROM NOW ON, THOSE NOT FOLLOWING THE RULES WILL BE DELETED.
I’m not totally strict on using just a word or phrase. But please try to stick to the theme of summing up your week. There are not too many rules with this linky, just remember to read at least another couple of posts in the link up after adding your link. And please only add one post to the link up each week, multiple posts will be deleted. I will read and comment on all posts and tweet them out for you. I also have a Pinterest board devoted to Word of the Week. Please add the badge below to your post so that others may find us and join in. If you comment or tweet then please use the hashtag #WotW
Word of the Week is open from 6am on Friday Morning to 12 noon on Monday. Plenty of time to join in!
If you are unfamiliar with the Word of the Week linky then please feel free to ask any questions. New linkers are always welcome, we love to hear what you have been up to in the past week.
MY WORD OF THE WEEK – Sick
Last week I told you how I had to finish my treatment early because I was sick. Well, I did recover over the weekend, and Monday I was well enough to go out and do some food shopping. But then the sickness came back and I just can’t seem to shake it off. No-one else is sick in the family so I don’t think it’s a bug or food poisoning.
In other news, the reason I had to go shopping on Monday is because my weekly online shop didn’t turn up. No excuse, no phone call, no food. I called them when they were late and they said sorry and would refund my money in 3-5 days! Eeek Sainsburys, not good enough! I complained and they ended up returning my money on Monday morning so I could go and buy some food.
The Little Man’s first week of home education has been a slow burner thanks to my sickness but he’s been out to Home Ed. School with his Dad twice so at least he’s mixing with other children and having fun while learning.
Now it’s over to you, what word or phrase sums up your week this week?
Sorry to hear you’ve not been well Anne. I hope it’s sorted soon. The not knowing what’s causing it must be scary too. I don’t know what’s happening with Sainsburys these days! Fingers crossed for you and the Little Man to have a better week next week.
Snap with the Word of the Week.
Oh no, it sounds like you have had a week of it. I hope you are feeling better soon.
That really isn’t good from Sainsburys. You would at least expect a phone call to say your shopping is not arriving. x
Glad you were better over the weekend but sorry to hear the sickness returned. Hope you feel better soon. Frustrating that your Sainsbury’s order didn’t turn up and even worse that they didn’t notify you. #WotW
Sorry to hear that you have been sick. Hope that you feel better soon xx
Hope you are feeling better now. That was not good customer service from Sainsburys.
Sorry to hear you have been unwell. I hope you feel better soon. Thank you for your concern and for checking up on me.
Thank you Lisa, I can’t imagine what life must be like for you right now, my thoughts are with you all x
Saying a little prayer that you feel better this week. My word for the last week is exhaustion. I’m working to get my house ready to list to sell. I’m pooped! #MMBC
oh my I don’t envy you. Good luck x
I hope you are feeling better now. Someone else I know had this issue with Sainsbury’s. I don’t understand how they can just miss orders off like that and not even explain or try to sort it out #WotW
