Hello and welcome to the home of Word of the Week, a nice and simple weekly linky, with everyone welcome to pop by and share. The idea of the linky is to reflect back on your past week and share it with us. It’s great if you can sum it up in a word or phrase, hence giving us your Word of the Week.
I’m not totally strict on using just a word or phrase but please try to stick to the theme of summing up your week.
There are not too many rules with this linky, just remember to read at least another couple of posts in the link up after adding your link. I will read and comment on all posts and tweet them out for you. I also have a Pinterest board devoted to Word of the Week and I will add posts to Mix Please add the badge below to your post so that others may find us and join in. If you comment or tweet then please use the hashtag #WotW
Word of the Week is open from 6am on Friday Morning to 12 noon on Monday. Plenty of time to join in!
If you are unfamiliar with the Word of the Week linky then please feel free to ask any questions. New linkers are always welcome, we love to hear what you have been up to in the past week.
MY WORD OF THE WEEK.
Over the weekend we were still moving things around and getting the living room back together, it’s all done now. I wanted to change things around a bit more, but it didn’t work out too well, so it’s not really that different furniture wise, but it does look less cluttered. It’s also a lot lighter and brighter.
This week has been a bit mixed. I started a new venture last week, so instead of working on my blog I’ve been working on my Avon promotion. (gratuitus link to my Avon Shop.) To be fair it’s not that much of a change, but it’s a different direction.
We took the Little Man to see a pyschologist on Tuesday. He is my third child to have an autism diagnosis. Having been through so much already it’s not so much of a change doing it all again with the Little Man but it does mean my thoughts on the future are changed. I really thought the two youngest were going to be okay. I guess we all worry about the future of our children, but when they have issues like Autism it makes those worries a little different. My biggest worry is that I won’t be here to help him through his most difficult years.
Things have changed for autistic children though. I had some real school issues with my eldest son, but Star has done so much better. Some schools are a lot more understanding these days and that’s a change for the good.
Today is the last day of school so it’s all change for the next few weeks. I have worked out a timetable with the kids so that they know already they are not going to be glued to their laptops, tablets and phones for hours on end. Usually at weekends the screen take over a lot, but I’m not going to let that happen during the school holiday.
We’ve also had a bit of a change in the weather, and my hopes are that it changes back again very soon. Although the rain was needed for the garden, I don’t want it spoiling our holiday.
Now it’s over to you, what word or phrase sums up your week this week?
